Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's soccer team played Fordham to a 1-1 tie in its first pre-season scrimmage on Aug. 23.

After falling behind 1-0, freshman Dave Mittan scored on a penalty kick to even the score.

Freshman goalkeepers Dan Ferrin and Matt Thibdeau split time in the goal for Stony Brook.
