DANBURY, Conn. — Stony Brook men's soccer graduate defender Jamie Orson earned a spot on the All-ECAC First Team.

Orson adds to the accolades he has already garnered, including becoming Stony Brook's first-ever field player to receive a CAA Major Award (Co-Defender of the Year), United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region and All-CAA status. Orson, a graduate transfer from Yale, played in all 19 matches, making 18 starts. He logged a full 90 minutes in all but one match, playing an integral role in Stony Brook's seven clean sheets. Offensively, Orson contributed four goals, including the game-winner over Northeastern to clinch a CAA postseason berth, and one assist.

Orson's honor from the ECAC is Stony Brook's first since Martieon Watson was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-ECAC recognition in 2018.
