STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Stony Brook men's soccer program announced its 2026 schedule, highlighted by seven contests at LaValle Stadium and a pair of Battle of Long Island matchups against Hofstra.
The Seawolves open the 2026 campaign with back-to-back road contests at Marist (Aug. 20) and Sacred Heart (Aug. 24) before returning to Long Island for their home opener against Hofstra on August 29.
Stony Brook begins September with consecutive road matches at Northeastern (Sept. 6) and Quinnipiac (Sept. 9) before returning home to host Saint Peter's on September 12. The Seawolves then travel to Army (Sept. 15) and Drexel (Sept. 19) before welcoming Rhode Island (Sept. 22) and Monmouth (Sept. 26) to LaValle. Last season, Stony Brook took down Monmouth in the CAA North Division Quarterfinal, eventually advancing to the first CAA Championship Game in program history.
The Battle of Long Island resumes on October 3 as Stony Brook heads to Hempstead to take on the Pride. The Seawolves return home for a pair of October contests against Farmingdale State (Oct. 13) and Drexel (Oct. 18) before making their final road trip of the regular season to Monmouth on October 24.
Stony Brook closes out the 2026 regular season on its home pitch, hosting Northeastern on October 30 at LaValle Stadium. The top three programs from both the north and south divisions clinch a berth into the 2026 CAA Championship, beginning with the quarterfinals on November 5 at the locations of the higher seeds, respectively.
