KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Stony Brook men's soccer senior Finlay Oliver was named to the 2026 United Soccer Coaches Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Positional Players to Watch for Midfielders, as announced by the coaches association on Friday.

Oliver earned First Team All-CAA honors following a breakout junior campaign in 2025 after leading the Seawolves with eight goals and 20 points while adding four assists. He finished the season with two game-winning goals. As a sophomore in 2024, Oliver was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team after appearing in all 16 matches, making seven starts and totaling three goals and three assists for nine points.

Stony Brook men's soccer begins its 2026 campaign next week with a pair of exhibition matches before officially opening the regular season on the road at Marist on August 20. Kickoff against the Red Foxes is set for 7 p.m.
