RICHMOND, Va. - Stony Brook midfielders Alex Fleury and Finlay Oliver were named to the Preseason All-CAA Team, while the Seawolves were selected to finish second in the 2026 CAA Men's Soccer Preseason Poll.

Oliver, who was named to the United Soccer Coaches Forwards Watch List on August 10, returns for his senior season with the Seawolves. A 2025 First Team All-CAA honoree, Oliver led Stony Brook with 20 points on eight goals and four assists while ranking third in the CAA in goals and points and sixth in shots on goal (18).

Fleury also returns for his senior season. He finished the 2025 season with 13 points on three goals and a career-high seven assists, ranking fifth in the CAA in assists. Fleury notched a season-high two assists against Monmouth and Farmingdale State.

As a team, Stony Brook was picked to finish second in the CAA after going 4-3-1 in conference play last season.
Stony Brook kicks off the 2026 season with a pair of road matches at Marist on August 20 and Sacred Heart on August 24. The Seawolves will host Hofstra at LaValle Stadium on August 29 for their home opener.
