Jamaica, N.Y. - Stony Brook (5-11-2) scored goals just 20 seconds apart as the Seawolves earned a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over St. John's on Wednesday night.

It was the Red Storm who struck first, when Lisa Kaczmarski's header found the net in the 29th minute.

The Seawolves countered in a big way in the second half. At the 62:42 mark, Krisha Zagura tallied her fifth goal of the year to knot the game at 1-1. Just 20 seconds later, Beth Arikian netted a free kick for the 2-1 edge.

The Seawolves held on to record their fifth win of the season.

Goalkeeper Lori Nelson stopped three shots on the afternoon.

Stony Brook closes out its 2001 campaign on Saturday when the Seawolves play host to Albany on Senior Day. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
