Ithaca, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's tennis team fell to the Big Red of Cornell, 7-0, at the Reis Tennis Center in Ithaca N.Y. on Saturday afternoon.

The Big Red opened the match by sweeping the doubles matches to earn the first point and then went on to win all six singles matches to capture the 7-0 victory. Daniela DelPrete outlasted SB's Martha Barrett in No. 1 singles, 7-5, 6-3.

The loss drops the women's tennis team's record to 8-2 on the season.
