The Stony Brook swimming and diving team fell to St. John's in dual meet action on Saturday, as the Red Storm handed the women's team a 188-76 loss while the Seawolves men suffered a 123-70 defeat.
Stony Brook managed just two wins on the afternoon, both coming in the 100 breaststroke. Freshman Alison Porteus registered a victory in the event with her time of 1:10.05. Meanwhile, senior Igor Voloshin captured the same event on the men's side.
With the losses, the women's team is now 4-7 while the men's team falls to 6-4.
Stony Brook returns to the pool on Feb. 2 when the Seawolves play host to Fairfield.
