STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Clara Armstrong and Sara Baxter of Stony Brook's swimming and diving team were named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The pair of swimmers were named CSC Academic All-District by achieving a 3.5 cumulative GPA, while competing in at least five meets during the athletic season.

All selected student-athletes are also eligible to be selected for CSC's women's swimming & diving Academic All-America list, which will be released on Tuesday, April 22.

Armstrong is set to graduate this spring with a degree in applied mathematics and statistics as Baxter is currently earning her bachelor's in civil engineering.
