Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook's Margaret Blair was named the America East Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 25, as announced by the league office on Monday. Blair had an outstanding week at the plate, batting .417 with five hits, including her first career home run, three runs and two RBI.

She was key in Stony Brook's win over Boston University in Game 3 of the series, belting her second home run of the season to give SB a 1-0 lead, then doubling and scoring the game-winning run in the eighth inning. Blair also had a solid outing in Game 2 vs. Buffalo, going 2-for-3 with a home run.
