Stony Brook, N.Y. - Kristen Brust was named the America East Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 4, as the league office announced on Monday afternoon. Brust had another outstanding week at the plate, batting .667 (12-for-18) with eight RBI, five runs and a pair of home runs in a 4-1 week as the Seawolves extended their school record win streak to 10 games.

Brust opened the week with a 7-for-8 afternoon in a pair of wins over Wagner, driving in five runs while scoring three with two doubles and a triple. Against Maine, the first baseman racked up five hits, including a pair of home runs while driving in three and scoring twice.
