Stony Brook, N.Y. - Kristen Brust earns Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after an outstanding week at the plate, batting .667 with 12 hits, eight RBI, five runs and a pair of home runs and doubles in a 4-1 week for SB.

Brust opened the week with a 7-for-8 afternoon in a pair of wins over Wagner, driving in five runs while scoring three with two doubles and a triple. Against Maine, the first baseman racked up five hits, including a pair of home runs while driving in three and scoring twice.

For the season, Brust leads the team with a .458 batting average, 44 hits, 28 RBI, 22 runs, 12 doubles and eight home runs.
