Stony Brook, N.Y. - Kristen Brust earns Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after an unstoppable week at the plate during the America East Tournament.

Brust hit .778 with seven hits to go with a pair of runs scored in three games to earn all-tournament team honors. That performance bumped up her average to .423 for the season.

Earlier in the week, the Farmingville, N.Y. native was named to the America East first team for the third consecutive season.
