Stony Brook, N.Y. - Antwan Hardy (Rockville, Md./Montrose Christian), Greg Lewis (Bordentown, N.J./Solebury School), and Matt Robbins (Slingerlands, N.Y./Blair Academy) have signed National Letters of Intent to play basketball at Stony Brook University, head coach Nick Macarchuk announced.

"We are excited about our incoming freshmen class," said Macarchuk. "Antwan is a multi-purpose guard who is an outstanding shooter and should help us in an area where we were very weak last year. Greg is a talented inside player who has an opporunity to play next season while Matt is a versatile swing man who could help us with his outside shooting."

Hardy, a 6-1 guard, averaged 12.2 points, four assists and 2.2 steals per game for Montrose Christian High School which posted a 25-4 record and was ranked 19th in the nation. A four-year performer, Hardy was named a National Association of Christian Athletes All-American after shooting over 51 percent from the floor, 45 percent from three-point range.

Lewis, a 6-7 forward, was a four-year starter for the Solebury School in New Hope, Pa. He finished his career with 1,097 points, 657 rebounds and 176 blocks and was chosen as team MVP after his junior and senior year. The former school president led his team in scoring (14.8 ppg) and rebounding (9.0 rpg.) as a senior and was named to the 2003-04 Western Reserve Academy All-Tournament team.

Robbins, a 6-8 forward, averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game at Blair Academy this past year after a standout career at Bethlehem Central High School in upstate New York. He was the leading scorer in the Suburban Council at a 20 points per game clip during the 2002-03 season and earned Troy Record first-team honors following his senior season. A first-team all-conference selection, he led his high school squad in scoring and rebounding in both his junior and senior seasons.
