Niagara, N.Y. - Freshman Tamer Mohamed's goal 11 minutes into the second half proved to be the game-winner as Stony Brook held on to defeat Niagara 1-0 in the final game of the Niagara Fall Classic. The Seawolves improved to 3-0-0 on the season, while the Purple Eagles fell to 0-4-0.

Shanniel Headley sent a cross from the right corner through the box where Mohamed one-timed a shot inside the near post to give SB the 1-0 advantage at the 56:07 mark. John Moschella made several key saves in the final period to help the Seawolves seal the victory.

Moschella earned his third win in net, turning away four shots. Eric Sullivan stopped four shots for Niagara.

Stony Brook captured the tournament title after winning both of its matches, while Rob Fucci, Zach Norwood, Mike Salvador and Moschella were named to the all-tournament team.

The Seawolves are back in action on Wednesday when they take on St. Francis College at St. John's University at 7:30 p.m.
