Fairfax, Va. - The Stony Brook women's volleyball team lost in four games to George Mason at the Patriot Invitational held in Fairfax, Va., on Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves won the opening game of the match 30-25, but GMU stormed back with 30-25, 30-18 and 30-25 wins to secure the match. With the loss, the Seawolves fall to 7-6 this season.

Maria Samilo and Danielle MacKnight led the Stony Brook offensive attack, posting 13 and 10 kills, respectively, while Abby Egan added 19 digs, Claire Lindner recorded 18 digs and Morgan Sweany dug an additional 15 balls in the loss.

The Seawolves are back in action later this afternoon when they take on Towson at 5 pm in the final match of the Patriot Invitational.
