STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Stony Brook volleyball student-athletes
Kali Moore and
Madison Cigna earned CSC Academic All-District honors, as announced by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
This is Cigna's first time earning this distinction, while Moore has now earned it in back-to-back years. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and need to have either played in 90% of their team's matches or started 66% of matches.
Cigna is currently pursuing a degree in business management, while Moore is finishing up her degree in Psychology.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
