Women's Soccer Falls to Lehigh in Overtime

Bethlehem, Pa. - Melissa Montalvo's goal in the 95th minute of overtime gave Lehigh a 1-0 victory over Stony Brook on Friday evening in Bethlehem, Pa. With the loss, the Seawolves' record evened at 1-1 this season while Lehigh improved to 2-1. The game remained scoreless at the end of regulation time before Lehigh struck in the 95th minute of overtime to take the 1-0 victory. After a scramble in the box, a Stony Brook player went down and it appeared that play would stop, however the whistle was not blown and Montalvo blasted a shot past an off-guard defense for the win. Cindy Bennett made six saves in net for the Seawolves in the loss.
