Stony Brook, N.Y. - Michael Palacio picks up Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after the sophomore tallied five points on two goals and an assist to lead SB to a pair of key road victories at defending America East Champion Boston University and New Hampshire, the fourth-ranked team in the New England Region, last week.

The Long Beach native tallied an insurance goal in the 2-0 win over the Terriers before netting the game-winner and assisting on another tally in a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The wins vaulted SB into a tie for second place as the Seawolves remained undefeated away from LaValle Stadium on the season (6-0-2).

On the season, Palacio ranks tied for first on the team with five goals and second with 15 points and five assists.
