The Stony Brook men's basketball team will take on Columbia in its home opener on Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves (0-2) will face the Lions (3-0) for the third consecutive year in a game that will be broadcast on WLIE 540 AM and WUSB 90.1 FM. Tip-off is 1 p.m.
Versus The Lions: The Seawolves own a 4-1 series edge over Columbia. The only loss to the Lions was an 80-75 overtime loss on December 20, 2003. Two of the five meetings have gone to overtime. Here is a look at the previous matchups:
