Stony Brook, N.Y. - EJ Xikis collects Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after helping to lead the men's soccer team to a 2-1 overtime victory at Yale in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

Xikis was outstanding all night long, turning away seven shots in the program's first-ever NCAA tourney victory. His biggest save came shortly after the Seawolves tied the game at a goal apiece early in the second half. A Yale forward broke through the SB defense and was all alone with Xikis before taking a shot the goalkeeper punched away to preserve the tie.
