The Stony Brook softball team fell to Longwood, 8-3, at the University of San Diego Tournament on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Seawolves fell to 3-11 on the season.
Sarah Hoffman took the loss after allowing three runs on three hits and two walks over two innings of work. Christina Voth came on in relief in the third and allowed five runs on five hits and a walk.
Hayley Durham went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and RBI double to lead SB at the plate.
The Seawolves close out play at the USD tourney on Sunday vs. Longwood at 10:00 a.m. and vs. James Madison at 12:00 p.m.
