Stony Brook, N.Y. - Solomon Bamiro earns Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after another outstanding week for the men's basketball team. The senior averaged 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 55.0 percent (6-11) from the field.

Bamiro opened the week with his first career double-double with career-highs of 11 points and 12 rebounds at Maine. It was just the second double-double on the season for the Seawolves. He capped the week by tying his career-high with 11 points to go with five rebounds in a win over UMBC.
