After rain delayed play most of the day and moved tennis to the inside courts, the Stony Brook women's tennis team finally hit the courts in the Big Green Invite.
In the Flight "A" singles, Sandy Wijeratne fell to Abraham of Boston University, 6-0, 6-1 and Paola Rodolfi lost to Leftkowith of Boston University, 6-2, 6-1.
In the Flight "B" singles, Victoria Vovsha fell to Danielle Murphy of Dartmouth, 6-3, 6-4, Erica Federgreen fell to Jennifer Murphy, 6-4, 6-4, and Caitlin Crowley fell to Hernandez of BU, 6-3, 6-1.
In doubles, the duo of Wijeratne and Federgreen fell in the second round to Owens and Paradis of CU. Crowley teamed up with Kammerer of Southern Miss and advanced to the second round with an 8-2 win over Langer and Scullin of Siena before falling to Row and Leftkowith of Boston University, 8-2, and Radolfi and Vovsha fell to Barvoets and Davis of Siena, 8-6.
The Seawolves will continue at the Big Green Invite on Sunday, October 29.
