Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman point guard Eddie Castellanos was honored as the Stony Brook Athlete of the Week for his impressive performance in the men's basketball victory at Columbia on Saturday afternoon.

A native of Hoboken, N.J., Castellanos led the Seawolves to a 54-41 win at Columbia. He finished with a career-high 10 points while adding three rebounds and a steal. His 15-foot jumper as the shot clock expired with just over three minutes left in the game sealed the victory for the Seawolves.
