The Stony Brook women's tennis team fell to St. Johns, 6-1, on Monday evening. The women's tennis team moves to 3-4 on the year as they prepare for America East play.
St. John's swept all three doubles matches to claim the point and maintained its momentum as the Red Storm won five of six singles matches en route to the win. Claudia Sanua picked up the lone win for Stony Brook as she bested Ira Aleksova, 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 at No. 4 singles.
