Ithaca, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's tennis team went 1-1 over the weekend. After sweeping Colgate on Saturday, 7-0, the women fell to Corell on Sunday, 6-1. Claudia Sanua went 2-0 at No. 4 singles for the weekend.

The women opened up the weekend with an impressive sweep of Colgate, 7-0. After sweeping all three doubles matches, the Seawolves rolled through the singles matches for a 7-0 win. Paola Rodolfi won at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-3, Sandy Wijeratne won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-2, Erica Federgreen won at No. 3, 6-3, 6-2, Sanua won at No. 4, 8-3, Brooke Flanigan won at No. 5, 8-4 and Victoria Vovsha won at No. 6, 8-5 to complete the sweep.

Against Cornell, Sanua and Flanigan teamed up for the sole doubles win as they bested Preneta and John, 9-7. In singles, Sanua picked up the only win as she won at No. 4, 5-7, 6-4, 10-2, as the Seawolves fell to Cornell, 6-1.
