Late Goal Helps Lehigh Defeat Men's Soccer, 1-0

Bethlehem, Pa. - Lehigh's Adam Gazda scored a goal in the 90th minute to lead Lehigh to a 1-0 win over the Stony Brook men's soccer team on Sunday afternoon at Ulrich Sports Complex. Lehigh moves to 2-0-0 while Stony Brook is 0-1-1.

Junior Mihailo Pavlisin (Subotica, Serbia) had the Seawolves' first scoring opportunity of the game but his shot was saved by Lehigh keeper Jonathan Nydell. Each keeper made a save in the first half to keep the game scoreless.

Senior keeper Dawid Ditrich (Gdansk, Poland) made seven second-half saves for the Seawolves but Gazda was able to put in a rebound off a deflection in the final minute of regulation.

Stony Brook had one more chance but a header from sophomore Mladen Ramic (Belgrade, Serbia) was saved by Nydell, just 30 seconds later.

The Seawolves travel to face #2 Connecticut on Wednesday night. Kick-off is slated for 7:00.
