Stony Brook, N.Y. - After helping guide her team to an upset victory of Lafayette over the weekend, freshman Darcy Heuser (Centerville, Ohio) has been named the America East female Swimmer of the Week, according to a release from the conference office on Wednesday. This is the second time this season Heuser has received the honor.

Heuser dominated the freestyle in the meet against Lafayette, winning the 1,650 (17:59.49), 500 (5:14.24) and 200-yard (1:57.05) races. She also swam a leg for the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:42.16). Heuser's points proved key in the Seawolves, 160-137, victory over the Leopards.
