Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman Berian Gobeil (Montreal, Quebec) has been named the Simplex Grinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against Albany on Saturday evening. Gobeil took a service from senior Collin Geoghegan (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and headed it past Albany keeper Adrian Foncette for the game's only tally. The goal was Gobeil's fourth of the year, tying him with freshman Leonardo Fernandes (North Babylon, N.Y.) for the team lead.

The men's soccer team ends its three-game homestand on Wednesday night, hosting Vermont at 7 pm.
