Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University's swimming & diving teams will be hosting their 2nd Annual Seawolves Fundraising event on April 5, 2009, starting at 8:00 a.m. This year's event will be a Duathlon, consisting of a two-mile run, 12-mile bike ride and a two-mile run. This is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event and numerous awards and giveaways will be given to the participants.

The course features a mix of flat and fast sections with some steady climbing and descents. The start and finish area of the race will be located in the Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium parking lot. Racers will experience the ultimate finish with the finish line located on the 50-yard line of the stadium. Packet pickup and race day registration will be available from 6-7:30 a.m. in the stadium parking lot.
