West Hartford, Conn. - Stony Brook University's softball game against Hartford was cancelled today due to rain. The game was in the top of the second inning when the rain was deemed to heavy to continue play. The game will not be rescheduled, resulting in a series tie as the two teams split a doubleheader earlier in the season. Stony Brook's next game is scheduled for tomorrow when they travel to take on in-state rival Hofstra. First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
