Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook-Notre Dame men's basketball matchup on Sunday, Dec. 19 in South Bend, Ind., has been selected to be televised on ESPNU. The game time has been moved from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the telecast. It's the third guaranteed game Stony Brook now has on the ESPN Family of Networks.

The Seawolves will play at Monmouth on ESPN Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 6 a.m. The squad will also host Maine on ESPNU Saturday, Feb. 12. In addition, Stony Brook is in contention for a BracketBusters game on either ESPN2 or ESPNU the weekend of Feb. 18-20.

Stony Brook will begin practicing on Friday, Oct. 15 in preparation for the upcoming 2010-11 season, which begins Friday, Nov. 12 at Connecticut. Sixth-year head coach Steve Pikiell returns most of his players from last season and has brought in a talented recruiting class that will contend for the America East championship. The Seawolves are coming off a 2009-10 campaign that saw program highs in overall wins (22), conference victories (13) and the program's first America East regular season championship.
