Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Anna Pieschl (Gothenburg, Sweden) of the Stony Brook women's tennis team has been named the SimplexGrinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday. After falling, 6-1, in the first set and down three games in the second set, Pieschl rallied against Jessica Ahn of Army to win the second set, 6-4, then won the third set, 7-5, clinching a come-from-behind 4-3 team victory over the Black Knights. Pieschl won all of her singles and doubles matches over the weekend.
