LIVE STATS: Game One | Game Two

Lawrenceville, N.J. - With two wins in their last three road games, the Stony Brook softball team will travel to Lawrenceville, N.J. on Sunday for a doubleheader against Rider at 1 p.m. The Seawolves own a 3-5 overall record vs. the Broncs, including a pair of wins last season.

Stony Brook (14-23) is coming off a pair of losses to Iona on Thursday. The Gaels pitching staff limited the Seawolves to one run and seven hits on the day as the visitors prevailed by scores of 7-0 and 5-1. Junior Bernadette Tenuto (Audubon, N.J.) led the Seawolves with three hits on the day to raise her team-best average to .342. Tenuto also leads the team in hits (38) and doubles (9), and is tied with freshman Elise Fortier (Coventry, R.I.) for the team lead in home runs (3) and RBI (15).

Rider (6-27) enters Sunday's doubleheader on a nine-game losing streak, having last won on April 2 against St. Peter's. Amanda Centeno owns a team-high 10 RBI, but has yet to hit a home run on the season. Rider has hit just two home runs in 2011, with both coming off the bat of Brittany Eckett.
