Stony Brook University men's lacrosse seniors Kevin Crowley (New Westminster, British Columbia) and Adam Rand (Niantic, Conn.) are two of 12 candidates for the 2011 America East Men's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year. Seawolves fans can vote for Crowley and Rand through Friday, April 29. The winner will be chosen on Monday, May 2.
Crowley, Division I's active leading scorer with 220 points, leads Stony Brook with 44 points. His leads the conference and ranks sixth nationally with 4.0 points per game. He's also a Lowe's Senior CLASS Award finalist and a candidate for the Tewaaraton award.
Rand statistically ranks among the best face-off specialists in recent history. He's won 766 career draws, third all-time in Division I history, and is one of just three players to take more than 1,200 face-offs.
Crowley, Rand and the Seawolves will play at Vermont on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
