Scouting the Rose Hill Classic
Fordham is in the midst of a six-match homestand and is coming off five-set victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday. The Rams have won two of their last three after dropping their first six matches of the season. NJIT has lost three of four following a loss to America East opponent Hartford in four sets last weekend. The Highlanders were picked third in the five-team Great West Conference in the preseason coaches poll. This will be second weekend of action for Cornell under first-year head coach Melissa Batie-Smoose. The Big Red dropped all three matches last weekend at the Omni Hotels Colorado Volleyball Classic. Bucknell is coming off a pair of wins at the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational. The Bison defeated Robert Morris and Loyola with its only loss coming against Duquesne.
