West Hartford, Conn. - The #Seawolves will try to climb over the .500 mark in conference play Wednesday night, when they head to Hartford to take on the Hawks at 7 p.m.

Scouting Hartford

Hartford, last year’s America East runner-up, has been impressive in non-conference matches, posting a 5-3-2 record, but has started America East play 0-2 to sit at 5-5-2 overall. Junior forward Javoni Simms is one of the most dangerous players in the country. The two-time America East first-teamer has been held to just two goals this season in nine games played, but has scored 19 career goals. He leads the conference in shots per game at 3.22 per contest. Sophomore Romario Jones leads the Hawks with three goals and is tied with Simms with a team-high six points. Senior Omar Tall pulls the strings in the midfield, leading the team with three assists to run his career assist total to nine.

All-Time Series

Stony Brook and Hartford have played in a lot of close matches. In 15 all-time matches, each team has recorded five wins, five losses and five draws. Hartford got the best of Stony Brook in 2013, 1-0.

How Can I Assist You?

The Seawolves lead the America East with 16 team assists on 11 goals. Freshman Thibault Duval (Grace Hollogne, Belgium) leads the team with three assists, followed by sophomore Favio Sbarra (Caracas, Venezuela) and senior Keith McKenna (Great River, N.Y.), who each have two.
