Stony Brook, N.Y. - The #Seawolves take on the UMass Lowell River Hawks at LaValle Stadiun on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

The River Hawks are 1-1-1 in conference play and 4-8-1 overall. UMass Lowell’s back four has been the leakiest in the conference. The River Hawks give up a league-worst 1.58 goals per game, despite having a goalkeeper who leads the league in saves in Austin Kroll. He has been called upon to make 68 saves in 13 games. Carlos Ruiz’s seven points on two goals and three assists leads the team. Wuilito Fernandes and Homero Morais follow closely with six points each. Fernades has a team-high three goals, while Morais has two goals and two assists.

Saturday will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two programs. Stony Brook is 1-3-1 against the River Hawks, losing last year’s match 3-2 in Lowell.
Home Field Advantage
Saturday’s return to LaValle Stadium will be a welcomed sight for the Seawolves. Stony Brook is 2-2-1 at home but just 1-7 away from home confines. In their only America East home match, the Seawolves defeated New Hampshire 1-0 behind a Favio Sbarra (Caracas, Venezuela) goal.
