Binghamton, N.Y. -
The #Seawolves travel to Binghamton Saturday night at 7 p.m. with a chance to clinch a playoff berth with a win.

Scouting Binghamton

The Bearcats and Seawolves are tied-for-fifth place in the America East with six points and identical 2-3 records. Binghamton is 4-12 overall on the season. The Bearcats opened America East play with consecutive wins over Hartford and New Hampshire but have dropped their last three outings to Vermont, UMass Lowell and UMBC, respectively. Binghamton sits at the bottom of the America East in virtually all offensive statistics but has been sound defensively. Its nine goals in 16 matches is the lowest goal output in the conference but it ranks second in goals allowed per game, conceding just 16 goals in 16 matches (1.0 goals/per game). Steve Celeste and Alex Varkatzas lead the squad with two goals.

All-Time Series

Stony Brook is 11-21-3 all-time against the Bearcats. The two teams battled to a 2-2 draw last season.
