Stony Brook, N.Y. - Redshirt freshman Tom McMahon (Nassau Bay, Texas) was named the America East Rookie of the Week after shutting out New Hampshire in Stony Brook's 1-0 conference opening win over New Hampshire. He made two stops in the match and commanded his box well, intercepting numerous crossing attempts. 

The cleansheet was McMahon's third of the season, tying him for the conference lead in that category. He also ranks second in the America East in saves with 49.
