#Seawolves Storylines

• The #Seawolves open December with a big road matchup with the Cincinnati Bearcats of the American Athletic Conference. Stony Brook is seeking its fifth win in a row and first true road victory of the season, and the Bearcats are looking to bounce back from a loss to Ole Miss.
• With this being only the American’s second year as a conference, Stony Brook has yet to play a school actively in the American at the time of the game, however, the #Seawolves have played six games against active American members, five coming against Connecticut, Steve Pikiell’s alma mater, and one against SMU.
• Jameel Warney produced 15 points, 11 rebounds, five blocks and four assists, Carson Puriefoy had 11 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double and Kameon Mitchell scored a career-high 14 points to lead Stony Brook past St. Thomas Aquinas 70-49. 
• Warney, who leads the nation with six double-doubles and is fourth in rebounding (12.6) has claimed America East Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and fourth time in his career. 
• Stony Brook has outrebounded each of its seven opponents this season and is currently +12.3 for the season. 
• The #Seawolves have won 33 consecutive games when holding their opponent under 60 points.

• The #Seawolves will extend their winning streak to five games. 
• Stony Brook will win its first true road game of the season. 
• The #Seawolves will earn their first win over a member of the American Athletic Conference.
