Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University is proud to host the 2014 America East Men’s Basketball Championship final this Saturday at Pritchard Gymnasium. Tip-off is 11:30 a.m., and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 and available on the Internet through WatchESPN. The information below is regarding ticket availability for Stony Brook University undergraduate students.
Student Ticket Lottery
For the championship game, there will only be 200 student tickets available. Stony Brook undergraduate students can sign up in the Indoor Sports Complex Atrium from 10 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12 to be placed in a lottery that will randomly select the 200 students who will receive a complimentary ticket to Saturday’s championship game. A valid Stony Brook University undergraduate student ID will be required to sign up for the championship game ticket lottery with a limit of one ticket per ID.
Students will be notified on Thursday, March 13 by noon if they have been chosen to receive a ticket to Saturday’s championship game. Those that have been selected will be required to pick up their game day bracelet at the Seawolves Pep Rally in the student section at Pritchard Gym at 8 p.m. on Friday night.
Watch Party
The first 1,000 students who sign up for the lottery will receive a bracelet for the game-watch party that will take place in the Student Activities Center should they not be selected to attend the game.
