The Huskies have dropped four one-goal games to sit at 2-6 for the season. Their two wins came over NewHampshire, 1-0, and UMass Lowell, 2-1 in overtime. Brad Fountain leads the team with three goals followed by Frantzdy Pierrot’s two.

Duval’s Big Night
Freshman Thibault Duval (Grace Hollogne, Belgium) entered Tuesday’s match with Sacred Heart with a lone assist on his collegiate resume. Two hours later, he left Fairfield tied with Albany’s Afonso Pinheiro for the conference point lead among freshmen with seven and is tied-for-second among all America East players with three assists, following his two goal and two assist evening. The six points were the most points scored by a Seawolf in a single game since Chris Megaloudis recorded eight on four goals against Philadelphia University in 2005.
Steady McMahon
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Tom McMahon (Nassau Bay, Texas) took over the conference lead in saves with 46 after making a career-high 11 against Sacred Heart on Tuesday. The first-year starter’s 5.75 saves per game also tops the conference.
