In the midst of a four-game, eight-day stretch, the Stony Brook men's basketball team hosts Albany Monday night at Island Federal Credit Union Arena at 7 p.m.  Eric Frede, Frank Sullivan and Kim Adams will have the call on ESPN3.

Last Time Out:
The Stony Brook men's basketball team made a season-best 34 field goals in an 82-39 win over Maine Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center.

The Seawolves made 17 field goals in each half, shooting 17-for-25 (.680) in the first half and 17-for-30 (.567) in the second.  Stony Brook (12-7, 3-1 America East) tied a season-high with 10 three-point field goals.

Junior Carson Puriefoy (Wenonah, N.J.) had a game-high 18 points, shooting 7 of 11, 3 of 7 from three, to along with a free throw.  Junior Jameel Warney (Plainfield, N.J.) scored 14 points on 7 of 9 shooting.

Redshirt freshman Roland Nyama (Frankfurt, Germany) accounted for 12 points on 5 of 8 shooting, including a pair of threes.  Junior Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, Ill.) added six points and 10 rebounds.

Aaron Calixte had 11 points for Maine (1-16, 0-5).

Opponent: Albany won its fourth straight game with a 73-58 victory over Binghamton last Wednesday.  Peter Hooley led four players in double figures against the Bearcats with 16 points.  Hooley is averaging 14.5 points per game.  Sam Rowley (12.8) and Evan Singletary (12.6) also are averaging in double figures for the Great Danes, who shooting an America East-best 43 percent from the field.

Series: 
Albany leads the all-time series, 38-26, but Stony Brook leads 19-16 since the Seawolves joined Division I in 1999. The Great Danes won two of three meetings last season, including the America East Championship game.
