With non-conference action complete, the Stony Brook men's basketball team again will turn its attention to America East play as the Seawolves travel to face Vermont Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m.  Eric Frede and Frank Sullivan will call the game live on ESPN3.

Last Time Out:
Junior Jameel Warney posted his nation-leading 13th double-double to lead Stony Brook to a 70-61 win over Columbia.  Warney, who leads Division I with 12.3 rebounds per game, accounted for 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Seawolves, whose nine non-conference wins are tied for the most in Steve Pikiell's 10 years as head coach.

Opponent: Vermont has won both of its conference games, beating Hartford and Maine.  Ethan O'Day and Hector Harold lead the Catamounts in scoring with averages of 11.2 and 10.0 points per game, respectively.  UVM leads the America East in scoring defense, allowing 61.8 points per game.

Series: 
Vermont leads the series 21-8.  The Seawolves' only win in Burlington came during the 2009-10 season.  Stony Brook's Director of Basketball Operations, Bryan Dougher, a sophomore on that team, had 20 points in a 65-60 win.  Stony Brook's only season sweep of Vermont occurred that season.
