The Stony Brook volleyball team looks to extend a three-match winning streak and remain undefeated in America East play with home matches this weekend against Binghamton and Albany.

Last Time Out
Stony Brook moved to 2-0 in America East play with a sweep of UMass Lowell on the road Sunday. Nicole Vogel had 33 assists and 16 digs for the Seawolves, who held the River Hawks to a .093 hitting percentage.
Scouting the Bearcats
Binghamton is 3-14 and 1-2 in America East after the Bearcats split last weekend with a sweep of Hartford and a three-set loss to New Hampshire. Friday marks Binghamton’s first road conference match of the year.
Gabby Alicea leads the Bearcats with 2.20 kills/set, while Binghamton has been limited to a .144 team hitting percentage. Bailey Walker leads the Bearcats and America East with 4.98 digs/set, while Kristella Morina’s 0.98 blocks/set are third in the conference.

Scouting the Great Danes
Albany enters the weekend at 7-8 and 2-1 in America East with a match at UMBC on the docket Friday afternoon. The Great Danes split a pair of matches last weekend with a sweep of Hartford and a three-set loss to New Hampshire.
Laini Leindecker leads the Great Danes and America East with 3.36 kills/set, while Tatum Jungsten’s .293 hitting percentage is third in America East. Mikala McCauley’s 8.71 assists/set rank second in AE to the Seawolves’ Morgan Kath. Amanda Dolan leads America East with 1.08 blocks/set.

Senior Stephanie McFadden ranks third nationally with 0.61 aces/set. McFadden was named to the Seawolves Invite All-Tournament Team Sept. 19.
Boston Calling
The Seawolves have garnered an America East weekly award six times in the season’s first six weeks. Morgan Kath was named Setter of the Week Aug. 31 and Sept. 28 and Rookie of the Week Sept. 21, while McKyla Brooks earned Rookie of the Week honors Sept. 8 and Sept. 28. Nicole Vogel added to the list with Setter of the Week honors Monday.
