Tip-Off: The Stony Brook men's basketball team is back on the road for the seventh time in 11 games this season, traveling to take on Lehigh Tuesday night at 7 p.m.  Josh Caray will broadcast the action on WHLI 1370 AM.

Opponent: Lehigh, picked to finish first in the Patriot League, is off to a slow start at 2-8.  Tim Kempton, the Patriot League's preseason player of the year, leads the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game, but has not played in the last two contests.  Austin Price is second at 13.8 ppg and Kahron Ross, last year's Patriot League Rookie of the Year, is averaging 11.0.  The Mountain Hawks have faced Syracuse, Purdue and Virginia.

Series: Lehigh has won five of the eight contests in a series that was first played December 23, 2002. Stony Brook won the last meeting in Bethlehem, 71-52, in 2009.  Bryan Dougher had six threes in that game and the Seawolves held CJ McCollum, who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers, to four points on 1 of 8 shooting.

Last Time Out: For a second straight year, Stony Brook and Hofstra battled to the final seconds, but it was the Seawolves who came out on top this time, beating the Pride, 71-68, Sunday afternoon at Island Federal Credit Union Arena before 3,334 fans.

Senior Jameel Warney (Plainfield, N.J.) finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and five blocks for Stony Brook (6-4), which won its second straight game.

Warney was the only scorer in double figures for the Seawolves, but they were paced by junior Lucas Woodhouse (Greenlawn, N.Y.) and sophomore Bryan Sekunda (State College, Pa.), who each had nine points. Senior Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, Ill.) and sophomore Roland Nyama (Frankfurt, Germany) scored eight apiece.

Ameen Tanksley and Brian Bernardi led Hofstra (6-4) with 23 and 22 points, respectively.

Juan'ya Green, the Pride's leading scorer at 17.6 ppg entering the game, was held to five.

Up Next: Stony Brook will head to New Jersey to face NJIT on Monday, December 28 at 7 p.m.  The game will be live on ESPN3.
