Boston, Mass. - Senior Carson Puriefoy (Wenonah, N.J.) of the Stony Brook men's basketball team was named America East Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Puriefoy scored a season-high 25 points to lead the Seawolves to a 75-62 victory over Lehigh. He made a career-best six threes, including three in the final 2:40.

It was Puriefoy's 12th 20-point effort of his career.

Puriefoy added five assists as Stony Brook won its third straight game.
