The Stony Brook men's basketball teamwill look to return to the America East Championship game with a semifinal matchup against Vermont Sunday at 1 p.m. Chris Villani and former Cornell and Boston College basketball coach Steve Donahue will have the call on ESPN3.

Last Time Out:
Juniors Carson Puriefoy (Wenonah, N.J.) and Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, Ill.) had 14 points apiece and junior Jameel Warney (Plainfield, N.J.) accounted for his nation-leading 21st double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds as the Stony Brook men's basketball team defeated Binghamton, 62-57, in an America East Quarterfinal game.

Opponent:Vermont advanced to Sunday's game with 66-39 win over No. 7 UMBC. The Catamounts, seeded second in this year's playoffs, are led by Ethan O'Day's 11.9 points points per game. O'Day, sophomore Dre Wills and freshmen Cam Ward and Trae Bell-Haynes were named all-conference. O'Day joined Puriefoy and Warney on the first team. Wills garnered second-team honors, Ward was named co-Sixth Man of the Year and Bell-Haynes made the All-Rookie Team.

Series:
Vermont leads the all-time series, 23-8, including both of the regular season contests. Since losing to the Catamounts in Stony Brook on February 7, the Seawolves have won seven straight.
